What is the sixth extinction?
The sixth mass extinction, or the Holocene extinction, in the sixth stage of losing vast amounts of species within a short period of time. Within the last 500 years the world has lost 875 species, with an extinction rate over 100% of the natural background rate. This mass extinction is mostly because of human activity harming the bioshpere severly and taking away land from all sorts of species.
